Visiting Stonehenge — the complete plan

Stonehenge is 9 miles from Salisbury city centre. The best way to get there without a car is our Stonehenge Shuttle, which departs from Caboose B&B — the same address as the luggage storage.

The recommended plan: arrive in Salisbury by train → store bags at Caboose → board the shuttle to Stonehenge (£15 return, 6 daily departures) → return to Salisbury → explore the Cathedral and city → collect bags → return to London.

Visiting Salisbury Cathedral

Salisbury Cathedral is home to the tallest spire in England (123 metres) and one of the four surviving originals of the Magna Carta. It is a 10–15 minute walk from Caboose B&B through the city centre.
