Visitors kept arriving at Caboose before their room was ready, or coming back after checkout with hours to spare before their train. They would ask if they could leave their bags for an hour or two. We always said yes. Eventually it made sense to formalise it — and open the service to every visitor arriving at Salisbury station.
Caboose B&B started storing luggage as a service to guests staying at the B&B. Visitors kept arriving with bags between checkout and their train home, or before check-in after arriving early. It made sense to help. Word spread quickly.
We opened the luggage storage service to non-guests — any visitor arriving at Salisbury station could drop their bags. The proximity to the station (150 metres from the exit) made it the obvious solution.
With the launch of the Salisbury to Stonehenge Shuttle, we became the natural starting point for Stonehenge day trips. Store bags, board the shuttle from the same address, arrive at Stonehenge hands-free.
